A Demon Beast Digimon known as the king of all Vampire Digimon. It is said to possess such great strength that even the Seven Deadly Digimon cannot lay even a finger on it, and lives in a castle it built in the Dark Area in ancient times. It is a well-mannered, yet compelling storyteller in part due to its captivating voice which has the ability to charm anyone. In fact, it has several amusing anecdotes it is happy to share about Angel Digimon that became Fallen after coming to defeat it. There is a legend that says GranDracmon has a body that is immortal, and that it may have something to do with the birth of the Dark Area in the Digital World. It is also said that this Digimon knows the truth behind the mysterious "Death-X" Digivolution; however, even reaching its castle is a feat in itself, making the task of asking it for information about the "Death-X" Digivolution even more daunting. Its special moves are Crystal Revolution, in which it instantly transforms any enemy into a crystallized form of ice, and Eye of the Gorgon, in which it uses the evil eye to imprison the minds of its targets in darkness.
